This is the year of "what you will actually want in your home".
2026 will bring lots of warm minimalism, cleaner and less sterile. Chic, natural designs using plants and stone accents. You will find some more luxury in your living rooms and bathrooms that are intentional that continue that natural stone tile elements. Why? It will inspire a more "spa-like" feel.
New trend? Bathroom artwork. I personally love to paint and have hung several of my pieces in my bathroom. This seems to be the newest way to create warmth in what used to be a sterile space. Use framed prints, subtle small lithographs, or personalized pieces to give it personality.
Bedrooms are going to start to reflect personality. Favorite abstract art (art is a big trend here) with sentimental pieces to reflect you. Show off you without the picture perfect, but with flair and pride.
Color trend is more that natural palette - think soft corals, light sage, dusty lilac, eggshell, and soft amber.
This new year is bringing in personality and not perfectionist, creating functional space that is budget friendly and shows off who you are. Taking out the sterility and adding the feminine softness of natural colors and contours.
